Court hears two men linked to Khayelitsha mass shooting no strangers to the law

CAPE TOWN - The Khayelitsha Magistrates Court has heard that the two men linked to the mass shooting in Site C, Khayelitsha, are no strangers to the law.
Athule Mtsha and Sithisa Masiko made their third court appearance on Wednesday, facing a litany of charges, including four murder and 11 attempted murder charges.

The court heard how the pair had previous run-ins with the law for several crimes.
On Wednesday, they also appeared in the same court on another matter with four other accused.
Western Cape National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila explained: "The two accused are also part of another six accused who are charged with illegal possession of a stolen vehicle. They are part of that case and it's also been postponed."
