O’Sullivan on Thursday concluded his testimony before the Parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee investigating corruption within the criminal justice system.

During his testimony, O’Sullivan firmly denied receiving any special treatment from law enforcement agencies over the years. To support his claim, he cited his extensive history of facing legal battles in court.

"If that is the case, I’ve yet to see the evidence of that because, as I said previously, I spent 88 days on six trials and, of the six trials, I was acquitted on four. The State withdrew and the other one was struck off the roll. I don’t think I was immune at all; in fact, I was a target."
