They were arrested in the capital on Sunday for allegedly offering money to an investigating officer to quash a case against a staffer.
Last Friday, a Hawks sergeant approached his colleague within the same unit who was investigating a Tembisa Hospital official implicated in corruption.
The 53-year Tembisa employee is accused of offering the investigating officer R100,000 for the case to disappear.
On Sunday, the sergeant, along with the hospital staffer, gave the investigating officer money.
The investigating officer then reported the matter to the Hawks, who subsequently effected the arrest of his colleague and the hospital employee.
