Suspect arrested in connection with Reiger Park shooting that claimed 6 lives

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly drive-by shooting that left six people dead in Reiger Park.
Gauteng’s anti-gang unit nabbed the suspect on Monday night, following an intense manhunt since the weekend attack.
Police said he’s expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday, while investigations into possible accomplices continue.
In a separate incident, the unit also arrested a 62-year-old man for possession of drugs, including mandrax and methcathinone, during routine patrols in the area.
Gauteng police spokesperson, Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi: "Major General Kekana has applauded the team for their relentless efforts and further thanked the community for their cooperation and working together to ensure that the suspects are arrested."
