‘National state of emergency’: Mzansi heartbroken by Siya and Rachel Kolisi’s divorce
Social media is going into a frenzy after news broke that Siya and Rachel Kolisi are ending their marriage.
News of South Africa’s favourite couple Siya and Rachel Kolisi divorcing did not go over well for Mzansi.
The pair announced they were parting ways on Tuesday evening (22 October).
“This decision comes from a place of love, respect, and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us.”
Social media immediately went into a frenzy when the news broke.
‘Siya and Rachel’ shot up to the top of the trends list on X with over 100 000 tweets.
Many users shared that they were caught off guard by the news while others sent messages of support to the family during this challenging time.
In true South African fashion, there had to be a joke, or two… or 30.
But one thing is clear, Mzansi has mad love for the Kolisi family.
