IEC has achieved the milestone of 27 million people on the voters' roll as the second and final national registration drive approaches.

The upcoming weekend of February 3 and 4, 2024 provides a chance for South Africans who missed the initial registration in November 2023 to register for voting.

Existing voters can also utilise this opportunity to update or modify their details before the closure of the voters' roll for the 2024 General Elections.

Voting stations are set to operate from 8am to 5pm on both days.

Abrahams assures that online registrations will remain open until the proclamation date.

He urges residents to register for voting and verify their correct station location.
