Madlanga Commission to hear testimony from new witness

A new witness will appear before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, sitting in Pretoria on Thursday.
Due to safety concerns the commission has opted to not share the identities of new witnesses until the eleventh hour.
On Wednesday, Witness F, a member of Gauteng Organised Crime, continued with his testimony, claiming police were under political pressure to arrest entertainment blogger Musa Khawula.

Pressure mounted on police to arrest controversial entertainment blogger, Khawula, after he allegedly insulted African National Congress (ANC) Secretary General Fikile Mbalula.
This is according to Witness F.
He said former the Deputy National Police Commissioner, Shadrack Sibiya, instructed him to act with urgency and arrest Khawula.
“He (Sibiya) said this guy (Khawula) insulted a member of Parliament, it’s Mr Fikile Mbalula and the other one is Mr ZE (Nxumalo).
“He mentioned to me that he was getting put under pressure from the deputy police minister.”
Witness f will continue with his testimony on Friday.
