The case against the two men accused of the murder of media personality Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, has been postponed due to outstanding documentation for the investigation.
Mozambican national Armindo Pacula and taxi boss Vincent Majola made a brief appearance before the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
They both face charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder, with Pacula facing an additional charge of being in the country illegally.
Stock was shot and killed in December last year outside Zambesi House - a building in the Johannesburg CBD - where he was contracted to audit and secure.
The two accused have spent four months behind bars after the Johannesburg Magistrates Court denied them bail.
State prosecutor Vincent Mochabela said the facial comparison analysis and other investigative documents are incomplete.
“Financial information in respect of the accused is still outstanding, the information in respect of call data and downloading of cell phone data, and also the drafting of indictment.”
The matter has been postponed to 27 May 2026.
