The family of murdered Cape Town teenager Litha Govuza has described him as a young man dedicated to his church and his studies.
Govuza and a friend were shot at by unknown gunmen in front of a spaza shop in their area while waiting for their orders.
Police said three men jumped out of a car, and one of the suspects shot Govuza’s friend in both legs before turning the gun on Govuza.

Authorities said they're following up on new leads after releasing images of a person of interest linked to the case.
Govuza’s family said the 19-year-old had planned to further his studies at university before his death.
His sister, Khanya Govuza, said he was also due to celebrate his 20th birthday in April.
'THE POLICE ARE FAILING US'
She said the family is still struggling to come to terms with the loss.
"We would love to hear from the people who killed him, why they killed him? We have so many unanswered questions."
Furthermore, she said, she is not convinced police are serious about solving her brother’s murder.
"They’re only releasing a statement in March for an incident that happened in February. The police are failing us because they were supposed to act when the video surfaced. The video clearly shows the killers."
Litha's uncle, Ayanda Govuza, said the family has been living in fear since the incident.
"We don’t even know what’s going to happen to us after this interview. We are not safe. These people can come and kick down the doors here. Where will the police be?"
