Signal Hill fire under control but firefighters working to contain hotspots

Firefighters are still working to contain hotspots and flare-ups on Signal Hill, where a fire was brought under control on Sunday.
Two helicopters were seen water bombing the blaze on the Green Point side of Signal Hill while city firefighters assisted on the ground.
City Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Jermaine Carelse says crews responded to the call around 10 am.
"The fire has been contained, however, crews still have a large area of hotspots and flare-ups to deal with."
