Elderly man found tied up and murdered in Table View home

A 75-year-old man has been murdered in his home in Table View.

His body was discovered on Wednesday night, with his legs and arms tied up.

Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg confirmed that an investigation was underway, though it remains unclear what was taken from the house.

"Table View police registered murder and house robbery cases. The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel."
