Phiri spent last week testifying about two complainants that he claims he had transactional and consensual sex with.
In both cases, he admitted that he lied to the woman about giving them money in order to have sex with them.
According to lead investigator Kaizer Mbele, Phiri’s modus operandi was offering women a lift, pointing a firearm at them before allegedly raping them.
In his testimony so far, he has denied ever pointing a firearm at anyone.
He told the court he believes the women he encountered were disgruntled because he did not pay them after the sexual act.
