Three bullets struck the driver and passenger seats of Brown Mogotsi’s vehicle, yet the controversial businessman emerged unscathed.
Mogotsi alleges that unknown assailants, driving a white bakkie, attacked him in Vosloorus, on Gauteng's East Rand, on Tuesday night.
The red Chevrolet, which Mogotsi was supposedly driving, is now at the Vosloorus Police Station, where ballistic experts are examining it.

The North West businessman is at the centre of allegations of police corruption and is said to have acted as a middleman between senior police officials and underworld figures.
Police ballistic experts have used trajectory rods, which are yellow sticks inserted into bullet holes on the red Chevrolet, to determine the direction from which the shots were fired.

The rods clearly show that two bullets struck the driver’s seat and continued to hit the back seat, while one bullet hit the passenger seat and exited through the back door.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said Brown Mogotsi was not hit by any bullets, despite evidence showing that three bullets struck the front seats.
"He was uninjured, unwounded and he is well. He’s probably traumatised, as he alleges. For now, no injuries or wounds to his body."
Eleven cartridges were recovered from the scene of Mogotsi’s alleged shooting.
The controversial businessman was asked by police to open a case last night but refused to do so. Police ended up opening an attempted murder case.
