Manhunt underway for suspects in Boksburg mass shooting that left six dead

A manhunt has been launched for suspects linked to the mass shooting in Boksburg that left six people dead.

On Saturday afternoon, the occupants of two Polo vehicles reportedly opened fire in Reiger Park, which claimed the lives of six people and left three people injured.

Police say the circumstances behind the murder are not clear.

Provincial Police Spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says there are ongoing investigations.

“The Acting Provincial Commissioner has appealed to the community of Reiger Park to allow law enforcement to do their job and work together with them by reporting any criminal activities.”
