Cape Town police are investigating a mass murder after seven people were killed in Philippi East.
Police say the men, between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, were shot and killed at a house in Better Life on Friday night.
The motive for the attack is unclear at this stage.
The police's Andre Traut: "Detectives from the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit are following up on all leads to trace the suspects behind this brutal attack. Provincial commissioner, Lieutenant-General Thembisile Patekile, has condemned the senseless violence and appealed to the public to assist the police."
