JOHANNESBURG - Teaching at Tiyelelani Secondary School in Soshanguve has been disrupted for a second day.
Pupils there are staging a protest after allegations that an educator sexually assaulted a pupil.
There are also reports that a bus driver is involved in an inappropriate relationship with another pupil.
It's alleged the incidents were reported to the principal, who failed to act.
More than 1,000 pupils are protesting outside the Tiyelelani Secondary School.
A police armoured vehicle is currently blocking the entrance to the school, while other law enforcement officials are standing guard.
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Tshwane and other civil rights groups have arrived to show support.
Meanwhile, officials from the Gauteng education department have arrived and are meeting with the school’s management.
