Malema was addressing supporters at the party’s 12th anniversary celebrations in Khayelitsha on Saturday, where he reaffirmed the party’s support for KwaZulu Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
The EFF leader said this week that he will be a member of the ad hoc committee that will investigate allegations of police corruption and interference made by Mkhwanazi.
The allegations made by Mkhwanazi implicate suspended Minister of Police Senzo Mchunu, members of Parliament (MPs) and police top brass.
He told supporters at the party’s anniversary celebrations that people should come forward with any information.
Malema said the committee won’t be another rubber-stamping exercise.
He also said Mkhwanazi must not be shaken because of the allegation, adding that he will always be welcome in the EFF.
