Joburg council Speaker says she's yet to receive formal communication from PA on Kunene's suspension
Kunene was suspended by his party following alleged links to Katiso ‘KT’ Molefe, who is accused of orchestrating the murder of popular DJ Oupa Sefoka, widely known as DJ Sumbody.

JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg council Speaker Margaret Arnolds said she had yet to receive any formal communication from the Patriotic Alliance (PA) regarding its decision to suspend Kenny Kunene as its public representative.
Kunene was suspended by his party following alleged links to Katiso "KT" Molefe, who is accused of orchestrating the murder of popular DJ Oupa Sefoka, widely known as DJ Sumbody.

The PA deputy leader was found at Molefe’s home during a police raid.
Spokesperson for the Speaker's office, Vusi Gumbi, said: "As of today, the Office of the Speaker of council has not received any communication from the Patriotic Alliance in relation to the standing of Kenny Kunene as a councillor of the City of Johannesburg. As far as we are concerned, he remains a councillor."
