MONTANA - People in Montana, north of Pretoria, are grappling with the aftermath of a tornado that tore through the area and damaged their homes.
Trees were uprooted and roofs were blown off many buildings and infrastructure was severely damaged.
Residential complexes around Enkeldoring Avenue and Sefako Makgatho Drive are a poignant reminder of Tuesday's calamitous weather event.
Brick fences lie in ruins, windows are shattered, roofs have been torn away, and trees have been uprooted.

The torrential downpours, persisting for over a week, have compounded the misery, making it even more challenging for residents to salvage what remains of their belongings.
On Tuesday, emergency personnel evacuated residents, fearing potential hazards posed by the tornado's destruction.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported.
Tshwane emergency services officials are expected to continue their work in Montana later on Wednesday.
This community now faces the daunting task of rebuilding and healing after such a traumatic event.
