A child is among the victims of a deadly mass shooting in Delft. Four people were killed when gunmen opened fire on a house in Zandkloof Street on Wednesday night.
It is the second mass shooting reported in Delft this week. Six people were shot in a suspected gang hit on Sunday.
On Sunday, two people, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed when gun-wielding assailants stormed a house in Leiden.
Four others were wounded in the suspected gang attack.
On Wednesday night, gang assassins struck again, about a kilometre from the scene of Sunday's mass shooting. Three men and a teen were killed.
Police spokesperson Andre Traut said the Anti-Gang Unit had been assigned the case.
Traut said: "SAPS [South African Police Service] strongly condemns the senseless act of gang violence in Voorbrug in Delft where four males, including a 13-year-old, were shot execution style."
The gunmen fled on foot and are yet to be arrested.
