Following Malema, the party's secretary general, Marshall Dlamini, will present an organisational report to the delegates in attendance.

The report will offer insights into the state of the EFF and assess its performance over the past five years.

A significant portion of Friday’s agenda will be held behind closed doors, with the nomination and election of new leaders scheduled for Saturday.

Ahead of the conference, controversy surrounded the EFF, with reports suggesting that former spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has been prohibited from attending.

Despite inquiries regarding Ndlozi's situation, the party leadership has declined to provide any details.
