JOHANNESBURG - Celebrities and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) icons fight for a fantastic cause.
On Tuesday, Springboks player Elton Jantjies announced on social media that he would compete against his Lions colleague Lionel Mapoe in a charity boxing event to support the Abbaquar Sans Dream Centre.
It is anticipated that the event will occur in Durban on November 30.
Through activities like ballet, karate, dancing, music lessons, feeding programs, and youth development, they are generating money for The Abbaquar Sans Dream Centre, a cultural organisation aiming to improve the young and old.
Since receiving a four-year suspension earlier this year for failing a drug test before the World Cup in France last year, the controversial 34-year-old Jantjies has not participated in rugby.
