CAPE TOWN - The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party said the judiciary should not interfere "even lightly" with the business of Parliament.
The party has also slammed the Western Cape High Court following its judgment, which barred the party's parliamentary leader, John Hlophe, from participating in the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) interviews.

In a statement on Saturday, the MK Party said it was pleased the full court recognised the urgency and allocated a date in three weeks in November.
The party said it welcomed the full court's decision to prioritise this case.
The MK Party said if the Western Cape High Court's ruling barring Hlophe was left unchallenged, this would have a "devastating and irreversible impact" on the party and Hlophe in the upcoming JSC interviews.
But the party said the judiciary should not interfere with decisions reached democratically by parties in Parliament after thorough debate and voting.
It said the will of the majority of people must not be undermined by what it called "self-manufactured irrationality" by the courts.
