The Madlanga Commission has postponed the testimony of suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi to allow him time to deal with the loss of a family member.
Mkhwanazi was due to testify before the commission on Monday.
However, his testimony has now been moved.
Mkhwanazi’s lawyer Nkosana Khumalo said, "Mr Mkhwanazi will be burying his mother and unfortunately his state of mind is not correct at the moment and without any further a do, we request the commission to grant the postponement to the 14th of April.”
