TRC inquiry to resume after Khampepe recusal application ruling: Presidency

The Presidency has given assurance that the Truth and Reconciliation Committee (TRC) cases inquiry will resume once the Johannesburg High Court rules on a review application to have the chairperson, Sisi Khampepe, recused.

Former presidents Jacob Zuma and Thabo Mbeki are seeking to have Khampepe removed after she declined to step aside.

The High Court will hear the application on Monday.

But Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya has not clarified what will happen should judgment be reserved.
