Members of Parliament’s ad hoc committee investigating police corruption allegations are concerned that one day might not be enough to question North West businessman Brown Mogotsi.
Mogotsi will finally make his long-awaited appearance before the committee on Tuesday.
He is expected to give evidence related to police interference and his links to Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala, and the disbanding of the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT).
The ad hoc committee confirmed Mogotsi's appearance during its planning meeting on Monday and how much time it has to conclude its hearings.
Unlike most material witnesses, Mogotsi is only set down to appear for one day, before the committee breaks on Wednesday for the Budget Speech.

African National Congress (ANC) member of Parliament (MP) Khusela Sangoni Diko expressed her concerns at only having one day for Mogotsi, who seems just as involved and implicated like other key witnesses.
“We did have a question on whether one day was enough for Mr Brown Mogotsi, but we will be guided by the chairperson.”
Committee member David Skosana also questioned the time that Mogotsi will be afforded.
“I’m not sure, as well, whether the issue of Brown Mogotsi if one has to take the least appearance [before the] committee. I’ve got a benefit of the doubt that we need two days for Mogotsi.”
Mogotsi’s evidence is expected to be followed by another appearance by forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan on Thursday.
