The Special Action Committee on Education (SAC-E) is calling on civil society, parents and learners to join their picket outside the Labour Court.
Former principal of Heathfield High, Wesley Neumann, will approach the Labour Court on Friday to enforce the ruling that reinstated him.
He was dismissed in 2021 after being found guilty on six charges of misconduct related to his refusal to open the school for teaching and learning during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Committee spokesperson Warren Hermanus said, "He's only seeking justice, and that is all. The picket starts at 8.30 am in the morning, and the court cases can be heard at 10am. So, we are trusting that the community, as they did in the past, will stand behind this good man.”
Hermanus also said the more than R4 million spent by the Education Department to challenge the matter in court is a personal attack.
"It's a vexatious litigation to destroy a good man - and it's disgusting. It needs to stop. Justice needs to be done."
