Eskom technicians are carrying out fault-finding operations in the Fourways area after a power outage occurred this morning.

According to officials, the lights went out when a switch breaker at a substation tripped in the early hours of the day.

Technicians have been on-site, and officials report that power has been restored to most areas.

Eskom Spokesperson Daphne Mokoena stated: "Eskom has managed to isolate the faulty area and restore supply to most suburbs, including Fourways, Douglasdale, Craigavon, Fourways Gardens, and surrounding areas. Supply is still outstanding on the Marble and Serena feeders, affecting parts of Lonehill, Magaliesig, and Witkoppen."
