CODETA taxi association back on the road after shutdown comes to an end

Cape Town taxi association CODETA said that it's glad to have its minibus taxis operating again between Khayelitsha, Mfuleni, and Somerset West.
A 30-day court ordered shutdown of certain taxi routes on this corridor came to an end on Friday.
Alternative transport services were made available for affected commuters.
CODETA spokesperson Makhosandile Tumana said that they want to get their commuters back.
Tumana said that plans are in place to ensure commuter safety.
