The department of education in KwaZulu-Natal says it will ensure that the upcoming National Senior Certificate examinations go ahead without glitches.
On Tuesday, authorities, including Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli, visited a site where exam paprs were being printed.
KwaZulu-Natal accounts for 25% of the country’s matriculants.
MEC Sipho Hlomuka said the department would safeguard the examination process.
"We do have our own, but we also have other security, which I can’t reveal here because we are watertight. We’ve made sure that there is no one that will steal exam papers."
