Taxi association CODETA has said it's looking forward to next week's court judgement on its application to reverse the closure of some taxi ranks in Cape Town.
Today marks the 19th day of a 30-day shutdown of taxi routes and lanes between Mfuleni, Khayelitsha, and Somerset West.
At least 10 people were killed in taxi related shootings in recent weeks, linked to a feud over the closed routes between rivals CATA and CODETA.
Provincial Mobility MEC Isaac Sileku implemented the measures to prevent further violence.
CODETA's Edgar Mohale said "We will just wait for next week for the judgement so we will take it from there after we hear the judgement."
