Investigations into the case of a Midrand couple accused of sexual exploitation have been finalised, but an indictment can only be served once bail matters are resolved.

Moodley has lodged an appeal after her initial bail application was denied earlier in 2025.
The prosecutor, Elize Le Roux, requested that the case be postponed to allow Moodley’s bail issues to be addressed.
"In the meantime, as soon as the indictment becomes available, we will be serving the defence with a copy thereof in order to make their arrangements. Both accused are in custody. If that may remain the same, I'm not sure my colleagues will address."
MORE MUST BE DONE
Non-profit organisation Women and Men Against Child Abuse, is calling for more to be done to curb a growing trend of child sexual exploitation.
The plea comes after the couple was arrested for money laundering and the production and distribution of material with children.
The organisation’s founder, Miranda Jordan-Friedman, said many children’s lives are changed forever by this heinous act.
"I think, something I wanted to share to you with you today was basically that we are here with a case that has approximately 19 million images of child sexual abuse that is basically 19 million crime scenes, children who are raped, and sexually abused."
