CAPE TOWN - Postbank has assured grant beneficiaries that they will continue to receive their funds as usual.
This is after false reports that the company’s Master Services Agreement (MSA) is expiring and will, in turn, affect beneficiaries.
Postbank has urged grand recipients to disregard the reports, emphasising that the absence of the MSA does not affect South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) payments.
The Chief Commercial Officer at Postbank, Thamsanqa Cele, said there is no need for beneficiaries to change their payment methods or open new bank accounts.
“In spite of unfortunate media utterances in relation to SASSA and Postbank contract coming to an end, which is not entirely true, but in spite of that, we just want to assure beneficiaries that their grant will not and cannot be interrupted.”
