JOHANNESBURG - The woman accused of murdering her 11-year-old son, Jaden-Lee Meek, is set to return to the Roodepoort Magistrates Court for her bail application on Tuesday.
Tiffany Nicole Meek has been detained for a little over a week since her arrest earlier in July.

According to the State, incriminating evidence was uncovered in the Swazi Complex, which Meek shared with her only child, Jayden-Lee.
Meek has maintained she is not responsible for her son’s death.
Amid calmer court proceedings, the court heard about what detectives had found at the scene where Jayden-Lee’s body was found.
Sergeant Ncebo Diko told the court about the evidence they discovered, and this was met with gasps of disbelief by Meek.
Diko had stated that his findings show that the child was injured and killed at home.
“On the forehead, a cut on the forehead, and one on the chin. Then a case of murder, given the injuries that were seen, was opened, and crime scene role players were called. Photos of the child were taken by a member from Krugersdorp LCRC.”
Meek, however, claims the evidence that was presented had been altered.
More details are expected to be revealed in Tuesday’s proceedings.
