Four accused in DJ Sumbody murder back in court next week

JOHANNESBURG - The murder case against four men accused of assassinating popular musician and entrepreneur DJ Sumbody has been postponed to next Tuesday.
The artist, whose real name was Oupa John Sefoka, was gunned down in a hail of bullets in a drive-by shooting in Johannesburg in November 2022, in a case that sparked widespread speculation over who ordered the hit.
The four accused appeared briefly in the Alexandra magistrates’ court today, where their case was postponed for a formal bail application.
