CAPE TOWN - Cape Town police have launched a manhunt for suspects involved in a deadly mass shooting in Goodwood, believed to be gang-related.
It’s understood that a group of men were travelling in a vehicle along Voortrekker Road on Saturday when they came under fire.
Authorities said two men were shot and killed in the attack, while three others were injured.
Police spokesperson Joseph Swartbooi said a sixth occupant managed to escape the attack unharmed.
"The unknown suspects fled the scene, and they are yet to be arrested. The motive for this attack is believed to be gang-related. The Anti-Gang Unit are investigating two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder."
