Mchunu eager to present his side of story at inquiry probing allegations against him
Police Minister Senzo Mchunu has been implicated in a string of allegations by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

EMPANGENI - Police Minister Senzo Mchunu said he was eager to present his side of the story at the commission of inquiry set up to investigate the misconduct allegations against him.
Mchunu has been implicated in a string of allegations by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
Mkhwanazi alleges that Mchunu interfered with police work.

Mchunu said he was relieved that he would get to have a say about the allegations.
"I am happy that one day I will find an opportunity for my side."
He added that he also hoped for a commission to be appointed in this regard.
"One hundred percent, that is what I was praying for as soon as I heard that there were such allegations made against me. I said, will it ever happen that I get an opportunity not just to write a statement or call my own press briefing, but to get an opportunity and platform with someone neutral."
