JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng Health Department says water storage facilities in some hospitals can only supply them for two to four days at a time, while they contend with low supply due to maintenance work.
From 3rd July, the City of Tshwane has been conducting work at its Hartbeeshoek Reservoir, which supplies hospitals.
The affected facilities include George Mukhari Academic Hospital, Odi Hospital and Jubilee Hospital north of the capital.
Spokesperson Motalatale Modiba said, "We are grateful that the City of Tshwane is assisting by providing water supply through our facilities. Services are continuing in respective facilities."
