JOHANNESBURG - Mduduzi Mnisi’s alibi is in question in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court.

Mnisi, who faces a charge of premeditated murder, is currently applying for bail.

He is accused of murdering 14-year-old Likhona Fose, whose body was found in Durban Deep in June this year.

She was last seen on 31 May.

Mnisi’s girlfriend, Pinky Gantso, is currently testifying.

He had previously told the court that he was in Daveyton at 11 o'clock on the day that Fose went missing.

But his girlfriend delivered a different account.

State prosecutor Shadrack Temeki is questioning the witness.

"If the accused says at 11 o'clock he was in Daveton, would he be lying, correct?" Temeki asked.

"Yes, that is correct," Gantso said.
