Man shot dead, woman injured in suspected gang-related shooting in Heideveld

CAPE TOWN - A man has been shot and killed, and a woman injured in a suspected gang-related shooting in Heideveld on Wednesday morning.   

Police said when officers arrived at the scene in Sneeuberg Road, the two victims were already being transported to a hospital.  

The 40-year-old man was declared dead on arrival.

Police spokesperson Joseph Swartbooi said detectives are at the scene, searching for clues.
