Reflecting on the recent gathering of world leaders and top businesspeople in Davos, Ramaphosa shared his thoughts in his latest newsletter on Monday.

Ramaphosa said South Africa's message of international cooperation and the Just Energy Transition resonated with participants in Davos.

"It was a sentiment shared by many of the business leaders [they] interacted with, as well as with other heads of state and multilateral institutions."

He said they also noticed "a much-improved sentiment towards South Africa and the prospects for the economy in the years ahead."

Ramaphosa also noted how they "commented on the successful transition from the 6th to the 7th administrations and the formation of the Government of National Unity."

He said they saw this as "a sign of stability and a common commitment among parties to inclusive growth, employment and a capable state."

Ramaphosa said they also "welcomed the far-reaching reforms" currently underway in areas such as energy, logistics, telecommunications, and water to grow and transform the economy.
