Man shot and killed outside Lenasia Magistrates Court

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police are investigating the murder of a witness outside the Lenasia Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
This after the man was shot and killed outside the local court on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was a witness in a case that is expected to be heard before the court today.
Police cordoned off the scene while they probe the incident.
Police spokesperson, Mavela Masondo, said he was shot multiple times by unknown suspects.
"Preliminary investigations suggest the deceased was standing outside when he was accosted by two armed suspects, who then shot at him without saying a word. It was obviously a hit."
