JOHANNESBURG - Some political analysts believe Mbuyiseni Ndlozi still has a future with the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), despite his resignation from Parliament.
Ndlozi, along with Yazini Tetyana, resigned as members of Parliament on Thursday. However, both still remain ordinary EFF members.
The party said that both members had been deployed elsewhere.
Ndlozi joined the EFF in 2013, the year of its inception.

Throughout the years, he has held several leadership positions within the party.
However, at the EFF's recent national elective conference, Ndlozi was not elected into any leadership structure.
Political sciences lecturer, Levy Ndou, said this might not be the end for Ndlozi and the EFF.
"If he has the potential to organise within the structures, it will require him to do a lot of work but five years is short in politics but at some point, it can be a very long time."
Political analyst, Vusi Gumbi, said that Ndlozi had acted in the interest of the party by resigning from Parliament in order to let a newly-elected leader take his place.
