The attorney for the affected teachers, Vernon Seymour, said his clients were hoping the court would look beyond the technical issues in the case.
Seymour said SAC expected Judge Melanie Holderness to give the substantive issues of the threat to fundamental human rights more weight.
He said the fight is not over.
"Part B is still before the court, and that will be heard later on, and that is whether the decision to terminate 2,407 posts was lawful and rational."
Seymour said the matter will be back in court early in 2025.
