Alleged gunmen who killed Mark Lifman set to appear in court

CAPE TOWN - There is a heavy police presence at the George Magistrates Court where two suspects linked to the assassination of Cape Town businessman Mark Lifman are set to appear on Tuesday.
The controversial businessman was shot and killed in the town on Sunday.
The alleged gunmen were nabbed in Uniondale, just outside George, a few hours after the attack.
Heavily armed police officers are guarding the corridors of the courthouse where the two men are set to appear.
Senior provincial police management will also attend court proceedings.
Lifman, an alleged underworld figure, was gunned down in the parking lot of the Garden Route Mall while walking to his car.
He was expected to appear in the Western Cape High Court on a murder charge the next day.
