She has since been spotted in Johannesburg, and just last week, in Cape Town.
“The police have said nothing. We are still waiting for them.”
- Michael Tembo, the father of 6-year-old Eva
According to Tembo, the man had been pretending to take Eva to school on behalf of her mother, but Eva later revealed they had been going to the park instead.
Eva’s mother tried to stop him from taking her to ‘school’ which caused a fight, and the police got involved, before the abduction.
The biological daughter of the alleged kidnapper, Susanna, was reportedly abused by him for years.
She says he physically abused her mother for years until they got divorced, and he sexually abused her from the ages of 2 until 11.
“I know what he is capable of. I have been estranged from him for years.”
- Susanna Kennedy, transitional facilitator
