Some supporters say they don't mind Zuma having MK and ANC membership

JOHANNESBURG - Some supporters of the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party say they don’t mind their leader, Jacob Zuma, having dual membership with the MK and African National Congress (ANC).
Zuma is on Tuesday scheduled to appear virtually before the ANC's disciplinary committee.
Hundreds of MK Party supporters have gathered to support him at Beyers Naude Square, which is a stone’s throw away from the ANC's Luthuli House in Johannesburg.
Zuma has previously said he won’t resign from the ANC and would die an ANC member.
Long-time ANC member, Bishop Sandile Ndlela, said that he also had a dual MK-ANC membership.
"We don’t want to resign from the ANC because that will give them an opportunity to expel us and do whatever they like. We want to fix them from the MK Party."
MK Johannesburg convenor, Theo Dlamini, said that most of the party’s supporters do not mind that Zuma has not completely disassociated himself from the ANC.
"Zuma is a president of MK and still a member of the ANC, then let him go and answer for himself there until he finalises that, then we are going to say something."
The ANC said that the outcomes of Zuma's disciplinary hearing would be communicated in due time.
Bishop Sandile Ndlela, a long time ANC member and now MK supporter, said there is nothing wrong with Jacob Zuma having a dual membership.
