JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) has commended Premier Panyaza Lesufi for leaving out the Democratic Alliance (DA) in his cabinet.
Despite the DA and the ANC in a coalition government nationally, the two parties failed to find each other in the province.
On Wednesday, Lesufi announced a cabinet that does not involve the second-largest party in the province.

At a media briefing on Friday, Gauteng ANC Youth League convenor Ntsako Mogobe said the DA was trying to "railroad" the party.
"We commend the provincial executive committee for their unwavering commitment to the principles and values of the ANC, ensuring our party's vision and objectives are not compromised by external pressures in these negotiations. This resolute stance demonstrates the ANC's dedication to maintaining integrity and sovereignty in our decision-making process, safeguarding the interests of our people in Gauteng," said Mogobe.
