MK Party set to submit evidence supporting its case to overturn poll results
So far, the only evidence of alleged voter rigging the party has put forward is a cyber expert report which does not have the names of people or organisation that prepared it.

JOHANNESBURG - Court records have shown the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party intends on submitting evidence to support its electoral case seeking to overturn the recent election results.
So far, the only evidence of alleged voter rigging the party has put forward is a cyber expert report which does not have the names of people or organisation that prepared it.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) and the Electoral Commission (IEC) have filed affidavits opposing the MK Party's application to have the 2024 general elections set aside.
In the DA's answering affidavit, there's a letter dated 24 June where MK Party attorneys are requesting leave to file a supplementary affidavit.
MK Party attorney, Barnabus Xulu, said the affidavit would have given all parties a full picture of the evidence before they submitted their answering affidavit.
After lawyers for the DA and the IEC opposed this, Xulu said his clients would seek permission from the court to file the supplementary affidavit at a later stage in the case.
In an affidavit deposed to the DA's federal council chairperson, Helen Zille, the party said it did not understand why the MK Party would not gather all its evidence prior to submitting its court application.
