Joshlin Smith kidnapping case postponed to July

CAPE TOWN - The kidnapping and human trafficking case related to missing six-year-old Joshlin Smith has been postponed for further investigation.
Dozens of people gathered outside the Vredenburg Magistrates Court on Monday as the search for Joshlin continues. She disappeared from her home in Middelpos, Saldanha Bay more than three months ago.

Joshlin's mother, Racquel Smith, Jacquen Appolis, Stevano van Rhyn, and Lourentia Lombaard made another appearance in court on Monday morning after abandoning their bail applications.
State prosecutor Aradhana Heeramun told the court the investigation into Joshlin’s disappearance was ongoing, and that police were following up all leads.
Heeramun said forensic tests and cellphone records of the accused were being analysed as part of the investigation.
The matter has been postponed to 15 July for the State to continue its investigation.
